"I have attended the Better Breathing Week conference for many years. The conference brings together patient advocates, health care providers, and policy experts to discuss important issues and cutting edge scientific updates about lung disease in Ontario. It is a wonderful opportunity for clinicians to network, learn, and support lung health."
Joshua Wald, MD, FRCPC"Participating in Better Breathing Week 2026 was an incredibly valuable experience. It provided a unique opportunity to learn directly from people with lived experience, respirologists, and other healthcare professionals, bringing together diverse perspectives on respiratory health. It reinforced the importance of patient-centered research and highlighted how collaboration among patients, clinicians, and researchers can help address real-world challenges and improve care."
Renata Mancopes, PhD"I've been coming to Better Breathing since 2006 — twenty winters in Toronto, and still worth every flight from my home country, The Netherlands.
It's the week I most look forward to: sharp clinical content, real exchange with fellow pulmonologists, and a city whose energy and cultures I genuinely love exploring.
Always educational, always great fun!"
Frank Hermens, FRCPC, PhD
